he next phase of Kuzco development will commence roughly two weeks after the end of Epoch One. We will announce a final start on November 22nd. Epoch Two is all about servicing real, live demand for inference in a highly reliable and performant way. Operators who are able to demonstrate stable throughput across their fleet will be invited to join Kuzco Mainnet, where they can earn a combination of USDC and points for their contributions to the network. Epoch Two will also feature:
Improved throughput and reliability for workers with NVIDIA hardware. 2. The ability to earn more $KZO points for connecting high-end hardware to the network, like A100s and H100s.
New modalities and models, like image generation and VLMs.
Improved documentation and rewards for community participation
Funding and roadmap announcements (next week).
On a personal note, it’s been almost surreal to watch Kuzco grow from a small project I started from my couch in Montana to one of the largest and most prominent distributed AI inference projects in the world in such a short amount of time. It’s been a joy to work with all of you along the way. Epoch Two is one more big step toward our vision of a single globally distributed, real-time spot-market for AI inference. In this next phase, we will show the world that distributed networks can overtake incumbents and beat them at their own game – not by raising big splashy fundraising rounds, but by building better products with better economic fundamentals, and truly outperforming them in the market.
